If you want a special life you must do special things…

If you try to avoid failures, you will also avoid success! Success is failure turned inside out!

The Waiting game is a losing game: The other day I received a phone call from someone who was trying to sell me protection for my family. My husband was working late and I was a stay at home mom raising my two kids. The person on the phone asked when in the next few days would my husband and I be available to see our options and what they could do for us. I told him I cannot make those type of decisions without my husband and that he needed to call us back some later time. Instead of telling her husband who called earlier in the day, she let it pass on by for a couple of weeks.

Then this one day the most frightening thing imagineable happened. Her husband called her as he was walking into his car and said he will be home in an hour. “Ok my dear.” she said as they hung up the phone. About an hour and 20 minutes in and still no sign of him, dinner set on the table, the door bell rang and 2 officers from the LAPD greeted me. “Hello ma’am are you the wife of Sergio Morales?” “Yes??” she replied. “We’re terribly sorry your husband was killed in a tragic accident which happened around 30 minutes ago. Here’s our cards if you want to talk about it.”

What ends up happening is sometimes later turns to never and we tend to put off what is really important because we think we can get by without it. My husband is the lone provider for my family and if something were to happen to him I would be forced to go to work and have day care or babysitters come care for my children. Instead of mourning the loss of my husband I would then be left a burden with everything on top my shoulders.

This happens way too often where we let something tragic happen before we act upon it. Let your past make you better not bitter!

Don’t Let This Happen To You….

Our job as agents is to reach out to everyone and their families and educate them on the benefits of having a retirement vehicle to make getting old a luxury and not a burden. So many times the uninformed seem to think that they know everything there is to know and let their ego overrule them closing their minds on any possibilities of creating a better life. A quote I read says “If only closed minds came with closed mouths”. The fact is this happens way too often and just the other day I found out that this “wait until tragedy comes to take action” approach came to fruition for my family.

My aunt who was perfectly healthy at the time I spoke to her turned me down a few times when I spoke to her regarding protecting herself and providing her with living benefits. My aunt is a hard-headed and unfazed woman who will never change her ways and this led to what is now her hardest time. She is a very smart woman and owns multiple properties but, she wasn’t smart enough because she never had a plan about her death. Warren Buffett, a famous and prominent investor said “an idiot with a plan can beat a genius without a plan.” She suffered a stroke and got to a stage in her life where now she needs help from others to assist her with daily living activities.

If only I was just a little more aggressive and adamant about this like I was for myself because if the same thing would happen to me, I have my plan for my death in tact. I can access my living benefits and pay for all the medical equipment and costs to help me in my time of need.

If we don’t take anything from this…at the very least look at things with an open mind. Death is coming for us all whether we like it or not, but wouldn’t it be wise to know that we can do something about it and change our worries to reassurance when our clock runs out?

Wait….What???

Now, lastly, there is Tax Advantage! Tax Advantage is a vehicle that can drive your money to new heights paying little to no taxes without having the IRS send you letters or levy your bank accounts. WOW!!! Are you serious!! Amazing right? Absolutely! So, Mr. and Mrs. Smith if I could come up with a plan for you and your family to reach your goals and help you get to financial independence would it be something you would take advantage of? What lights a fire under your skin? There has to be a strong reason WHY someone does what it does constantly and consistently day in and day out. Sometimes fear can drive us to just play it safe but, fear is the opposite of faith and with just a little faith you can achieve something better if you go after what you truly want.

To get what you truly want in life you have to go outside your comfort zone. I had to endure something very painful in my past to better myself and my loved ones for I made it a must to get it done. I live everyday of my life to be a success story and inspire others to think and dream bigger. When others say you can’t, you do the opposite! I am passionate about creating success stories for all persons and creating a pathway for them to achieve their destiny. Through every successful person there were struggles that they had to overcome. When life pushes you, you push harder and don’t settle for mediocrity when you have a chance to be great!
